Paul Spencer Alexander’s Second Musical Film to screen at AMC Aventura, Miami.

That bright light at the end of the tunnel turned out to be a movie screen, once again. I am so excited to announce, thanks to IndieWise, that my brand-new, sophomore film release, titled: “The Photograph,” will be screening at AMC Aventura Theaters in Miami on August 11th, 2018; not a bad start! This was no easy feat to complete. I put a 60-second snippet of this unfinished concept on FB many months ago and had to delete it as I was inspired to use a different instrumental score of my music. When I began making the whole short, I wanted to use a piano ballad but my vintage machine stopped working, due to a faulty power supply. I had no choice but to change the song at the very last minute. The silver lining was that this one came out twice as nicely, due to the additional pulp of the story I got to include because of the instrumental’s six minute and thirty second length. ALWAYS look for the silver lining, as there always is one.

My first release, titled: “A Love By Your Side,” and which will soon be distributed, screened at AMC Aventura Theaters last year in August of 2017 thanks to this same wonderful group above. It also won three awards, a finalist position, and many Official Selections in North America, including Los Angeles, as well as on the Asian and European Continents. I am beyond grateful to have the ability to create the things I create. Much love to all of you who have shown support since the summer of 2016 when I received my very first acceptance.

This is a craft. This is a trade. This is a labor of love woven with hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and a whole package made with no guarantees. I’m so happy to share this news with you.  Again, my short film is called: The Photograph.

In closing, I have a quote from Lyricist/Poet: Robert Hunter, who wrote “Terrapin Station, Part 1,” for the Grateful Dead. Then, I have some messages of advice in hashtags. First, Robert Hunter’s quote: “The storyteller makes no choice. Soon, you will not hear his voice. His job is to shed light, and not to master.” That quote has always resonated with me. It’s the most appropriate inspirational message that helps me explain why I do what I do. #getindiewise#paulspenceralexander#thephotographmovie#loveistheanswer#AMC#Miami, #eyemagicfilms
