Musicians & Songwriters: You Can Still Perform During These Strange Times—Here’s How…

I am writing with the hope that all of you talented musicians and songwriters are keeping your wits about you during these strange times.  Most importantly, I hope you are healthy, staying well and practicing your social distancing.  You must keep faith that this situation will improve.

There has been quite an irony in my own life—it’s been going on for two years prior to this self-isolation strategy that’s mandatory for your own health and safety, along with the health and safety of all others.  We are in this together.

The irony I mention is that I was engrossed in self-isolation for much of two years.  When this pandemic hit, I was already in a situation of social distancing.  The reason is because I was writing and editing a book that is chock-full of resources and well-structured guidance, designed to create global success for you as an artist from your home compute—if you follow all the steps and carefully selected, online resources provided.  It’s been an isolating experience, but a labor of love.  It can work wonders for you if you do the work.  I know that you can.

There is a huge focus on advising you not only where to go online, but how to approach companies correctly and gain music fans for streaming and downloading that might not otherwise be fans of your specific musical genre.  There’s a secret to doing this and it’s taken quite a bit of research to show you how to do it correctly.  I am hoping that, given all the delays and even a (now resolved—at least for now) issue with my own ability to gain access to my website for updates like this, the book will be available soon.  I am not sure when.  But my goal is to hand over a torch for you to be successful.  I want to root you on.  That’s what’s taken up oh-so-much time.

This is what I want to offer you—at least for now:  I want to remind you that you can perform live for your existing fans on your email list, right from your home or studio.  You can invite anyone you want—family—friends—your social media contacts.  You should check out CROWDCAST.  They are such a wonderful, online “live” virtual platform for you to perform your music, send invites, charge, get donations, perform for free and also remind your fans to buy your music online.  You can even communicate with your fans live, as they message you through the message board in real time during your show.  You can even save your shows.

CROWDCAST was designed for every type of event, including speeches and seminars; not just music.  I am watching an amazingly talented Artist who is incredibly successful and she’s using CROWDCAST as her virtual concert format.  Success leaves clues.

Remember, there are many other online concert platforms to choose from—but I am just here to remind you that you do have the option to perform online and that you should.  It will be good for you—particularly those of you who need to break out of their shells and upsets during these strange times.  People need your music.  It’s good for them.  You can be a source of light during this pandemic.  You can get all your feelings out of you through your music—your words—your unique perspective as an artist and ultimately—your particular song of life.  Stay healthy and safe.  Your talent is too precious to waste.

Thank you.
