Music In Film: How To Get Your Music In Film And Television.

Howdy, folks!  The purpose of this article is to offer you a free tip (based on my own research) in how to get your music in film and television from the comfort of your own home or studio using just your laptop computer.  Before I give you the link to a website I have found to be quite sophisticated and efficient in both design and in its (apparent) ability to get your music in film and television, I want to point out that my printable Ebook (available for instant download) offers even more ways of not only getting your music in film and television, but also how to build an ENTIRE music career, regardless of where you happen to be both in your music, as well as geographically.  My printable, instantly downloadable Ebook has been described by readers as “your best friend” in your music career, and the soft-cover edition received 5 Stars on Barnes & Noble’s website.

One way that individual Music Artists, Songwriters, and Bands have successfully gotten their music in film was to attend as many film festivals as they could, introducing themselves to producers and directors, and creating contacts (while hopefully having the opportunity to leave them on this first meeting with a CD of music that might fit one of their present or future films).  For television, many individuals have found a show on television with the style of music they themselves make, researched who the music supervisor was, and contacted them via email or fax (perhaps even by phone, though this might be difficult) requesting to submit their music for that specific TV show.  This is STILL a good strategy (though not an easy one).  Let me move on to the resource I found for submitting your music in film and television at the “click of a button.”  Write down this URL: www.filmmusic.net.

I must point out that this is not a free service, and I don’t earn anything from them by sharing their site with you (even if you do sign up for one of their plans).  There are 3 different subscription levels for you to be considered for your music in film and television, and all 3 are quite affordable.  It works very simply.  Your music is considered for inclusion in film and TV projects seeking music right NOW.  You also get CURRENT access to multiple listings of music in film and television jobs seeking your music right NOW.  There are also many other member services available on the site.  When you visit the site, there are success stories from Musicians and Artists, as well as “thank you’s” from production companies for providing such great music for their film and TV projects.  Your music should be in (at the very least) one of them.  I mean it.  I want you to be very successful, rather than (possibly) being discouraged about any downtime you might presently be facing.  Go check it out.

More to come.
